For our July Technique night classes this week, the focus is on new Fun Fold techniques, and one of those we will be trying out is the trendy so-called "Impossible" card! In reality it's far from impossible. In fact, it's rather easy, once you know how, and I made my sample card with the Tropical Chic bundle from the Annual Catalogue and used the Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper. This is one of the series that is included in this month's promo:
From July 1 - 31, if you buy 3 packages of select Designer Series Paper, you can get a 4th pack for free. these are the series that you can choose from:
Definitely the time to stock up with a deal like this. Shop 24/7 at my On-Line Store or message me to place your order for you.
- The impossible fold has a 'pop-up' panel that sits upright and a base that sits flat. It is a regular 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", so it fits in a regular envelope, and the pop-up panel lays flat for mailing.
Panel lays flat for mailing in a regular sized envelope. |
- The Tropical Chic bundle created all the stamped and die cut elements that you see in this design, while the Tropical Escape DSP forms one of the layers on the bottom panels.
- The colour palette is the same as the DSP: Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green and Whisper White.
- I won't go into detail on how this is made, as it is part of my Technique Night class, but here is a simple template of the card base, including measurement. Come and join me at one of my two Technique Night classes if you are in my area, and try this out.
Another Promotion that's on for the month of July is the opportunity to earn 10 free stamp pads, just for purchasing the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit! The Starter Kit is already a great deal!
