Blended Seasons and Watercolour Pencils

The Blended Seasons Bundle and the new Watercolour Pencil Assortment 2 have only 10 more days before they will be unavailable to you. This versatile stamp set and amazing framelit bundle are well worth having in your collection and if you have the original Watercolour Pencils, you're going to want to add these new colours to them. Here's the details of this promotion:

As the season of sweaters and falling leaves approaches, I thought I'd show you another sample of what you can do with this stamp set and die bundle, and I also used the expanded collection of Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 to colour it with.

  • I stamped the Leaf Image from the Blended Seasons stamp set in the retired Basic Black Archival Ink (still my favourite until I run out of reinker) on Shimmery White cardstock. Shimmery White has a warmer tone than Whisper White and holds up better to watercolouring using the Watercolour pencils and a Blender Pen.
  • I coloured in one set of leaves using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler* watercolour pencils and the other set using Granny Apple Green*, Crushed Curry* and Gorgeous Grape*.  *Part of the expanded colour selection in the promotion.
  • The die cut leaves are from a framelit in the Stitched Seasons Framelits set. I used Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze for the colours.
  • I die cut the coloured leaves and their Sahara Sand backing using the stitched labels dies in the Stitched Seasons set. These labels are perhaps, the most valuable reason why you should purchase this set. The dies create stitched line on both sides of the cut.
  • The sentiment, stamped in Gorgeous Grape is from the Blended Seasons stamp set as well and punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch.
  • The background on Cajun Craze cardstock is stamped with Versamark in the same leaves image, leaving a watermark type pattern.
