One thing I really like about the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue is that there are a lot of ways for you to come up with simple solutions for your holiday greeting cards and today I want to show you another possibility! This one is made possible by some photorealistic Designer Series Paper in rich Christmas colours and some great Christmas sentiment dies. It's a really quick and easy design. Let's take a closer look:
- It starts with that great DSP. It's the All Is Bright Designer Series Paper*, which alternates photorealistic images with cute graphic designs. The realistic images make great cards!
- I mounted one of these panels on a Cherry Cobbler card base. Then I added a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock that I had run through the Big Shot using the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder*.
- Using the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies* I ran the two words through the Big Shot with some Cherry Cobbler cardstock and some Gold Glimmer Paper, both backed with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, so that you just need to pull off the backing and stick them down on the card front when done.
- The final touch is to tie a bow in the Crumb Cake twine from Nature's twine and add it to the card front on the corrugated strip using a glue dot. I then coloured a Rhinestone with the dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends marker and added it to the middle of the bow.
- Voila! Your card is done! Can you see yourself mass producing these?
