So Sentimental Bundle for What's New at SU April Blog Hop

I'm so pleased that you are joining us for our hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ With Exciting Ideas to share with you. Our theme this month is the Jan/Jun Mini Catalogue products and I am focusing on the So Sentimental Bundle with it's bold sentiments and the beautiful Stitched So Sweetly Dies that coordinate with them.

These two products are great for a quick card or tag where the sentiment is the star of the show. Here, I've created a card using the So Sentimental greeting die cut with the largest of the Stitched So Sweetly dies mounted on one of the Sweetly Stitched rectangles and added to a card base with some Designer Series paper from the Best Dressed Series! Here's a closer look:

  • The card base is Lovely Lipstick and on it, I've glued a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of one of the Best Dressed Series of designs of DSP.
  • I die cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I actually embossed that rectangle with the Tufted 3D embossing folder, but the texture is not showing up in the photography, no matter what I do with it. Take my word that it adds an element of opulence to it.
  • The sentiment was embossed in white embossing powder on some Lovely Lipstick cardstock and die cut with the largest shaped die. You can see it was made to fit onto that die. The Stitched So Sweetly dies cannot be ordered right at the moment as we are awaiting a shipment from China where eveything has been delayed due to the pandemic. But we're hoping to have them in another week or two.
  • I added some White Metallic Edged ribbon and some leaf sprigs in Purple Posy and Vellum to add a little glamour.

  • The treat box is simply a gold pizza box that is still available from the Holiday Catalogue, covered on the top with a 3 1/4" square of Granny Apple Green cardstock and a 3 1/8" square of another design of the Best Dressed DSP.
  • The tag is a 2" strip of Petal Pink cardstock shaped in the Delightful Tag Topper Punch, with some Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon through the top.
  • The sentiment is from So Sentimental. It's stamped once in Granny Apple Green, then just the Yummilicious is stamped in Lovely Lipstick by masking the designs above and below it.
  • These are die cut with dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies plus a matching circle of Granny Apple Green is die cut using the Layering Circles dies.
  • All the pieces are layered on with the last two added using Dimensionals.
