It was time for some more customer thank you cards and I needed to start from scratch, as my Paper Pumpkin kit had been used for grandkid Valentines this month, so I got out a package of Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes and a couple of sheets of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and set about making some simple but effective Thank Yous. Beautiful DSP is so easy to use and makes a statement all on its own! All you need to do is to add a largish sentiment label and some embellishments and you've got a stunning looking card that didn't take you a ton of time or materials to make:
- Note cards are 3 1/2" x 5" so after folding on the scored line, I cut a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" and adhered it to the card front.
- I cut pieces of this design of Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper to 3" x 4 1/2" and adhered them over top of the cardstock, centering it on all sides.
- The sentiment, from the So Sentimental stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.
- The Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon was adhered to the card front, then the sentiment was added with Stampin' Dimensionals and that's all there is to it.
It's a very easy design for mass production and I completed a package of note cards (20) using this design, in no time.
