This sweet little bundle has been sitting in my stash for a while now just waiting its turn to be inked up and die cut! And it has been so patient that it needed to be rewarded with trip to my craft table so to speak! The What's Cookin' Bundle can be found on page 34 of the 2021/22 Annual Catalogue. It's perfect for the foodie in your circle of friends and family! Whether they like to cook or bake, there are tools in this set to accommodate both!
Here's what I did with it:
- The coolest part of this set is the cutting board embossing die. It die cuts and embosses wood grain on the die cut at the same time. I used a wood grain DSP from the In Good Taste series for mine, but it definitely added to the texture to have the embossing feature as well.
- I love all the little die cut vegie pieces. You can stamp and die cut the set of three all at once to make it faster. They really enhance the look of the image to have them on the cutting board.
- I stamped the knife on the wood grain DSP and die cut it. Then I heat embossed the blade part only on some Silver Foil sheet (which are now retired! I'm not gonna lie - I don't understand why! Hopefully it'll be back with the July/Dec Mini). I die cut the blade and attached it to the wood grain knife with glue dots.
- For the whisk, I die cut it from Silver Foil Sheets and then die cut it again from Poppy Parade cardstock and cut off the handle to adhere to the silver whisk with glue dots. The whisk handle and the peppers echo the colour of the card base and add a much needed pop to the whole project.
- The granite countertop and tile backsplash are both designs from the In Good Taste Designer Series Papers.
- The sentiment is from the What's Cookin' stamp set and is die cut with the Tasteful Label dies.
These will be available until supplies last and new kits will be introduced as soon as they are produced for an ever-changing inventory! Always something to try! Stamp on your own, or get your friends to purchase their favourite kit and then everyone can get together and stamp! (In person or online!)

I spotted this little set on the first look through the catalogue Heather but am wondering whether I'll get the use out of it. I want to play with it SO badly!! Your card is just gorgeous and it's useful to know that the dies emboss as well as cut. Those little chopped veggies are brilliant too...
