Tasteful Touches in Good Taste

I didn't get this stamp set with my original pre-order from the new 2020/2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, which is now open for business. But I began to see some lovely projects, especially combined with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, which is part of the same Suite, and I put in a late addition to my pre-order to get it. Not only does the stamp set have some lovely texture-filled images and great sentiments, but the coordinating dies are a great collection of stitched labels, which everyone know you can't have too many of.

I'm not sure if I'm totally satisfied with my first creation with this set. I think, as usual, when I first try out a new product, I'm so excited, I want to use too many elements at once. I should have stuck to the flower or the feathers, instead of both. But the neutrals are very forgiving so it works:

• On a Gray Granite base, I added a piece of the textile design In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, after stamping the flourish border pattern on it in Gray Granite ink.
• On some Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment, the flower and one feather in Gray Granite ink and one feather in Sahara Sand ink. I die cut the sentiment with one of the coordinating Tasteful Label Dies, but fussy cut the flower and the two feathers. 
• The flower was coloured in using the Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Combo.
• The feathers were fastened together with Glue Dots and then a double length of linen thread was tied in a bow around the tops.
• I glued the label just over the sentiment tag. I added the flower with Stampin' Dimensionals over the end of the flowers and the label.
• The last embellishment was some gold Metallic Pearls.
